Shot and Cut Films’s director, Fabiana Tavares, finished shooting the documentary Beat na Montanha.

The homonymous project was created by Luís Sequeira; producer, composer and Portuguese musician and aims to promote the inclusion of underprivileged children and young people, through music.

With the central-eastern region of Portugal as a backdrop, Beat na Montanha portrays the process of musical co-creation between young people from different social and family backgrounds, that has culminated in the formation of a band, with a concert scheduled at the Teatro Municipal da Guarda.

The documentary piece, that had the support of Shot and Cut Films, should see the light of the day by the end of June. For now, it is possible to follow the entire production process on social media, via IG Beat na Montanha.
