The Italian region of Romagna invited Shot and Cut Films to be part of “Romagna Welcome”

After being in Genoa in 2017, this time it was the Italian region of Romagna that invited the director Filipe C. Santos and Shot and Cut Films to be part of the event “Romagna Welcome”, an eclectic gathering of artists and creatives that showcase their experiences of travel through the vast transalpine territory.

The beauty of the places they crossed, the friendships they created, and the places, stories and traditions lived and told by those who join them along the way, make this work an interesting object of promotion and dissemination of the region.

In this film by Filipe C. Santos, what stands out is an exercise of subliminal search among the aspects that marked him the most during his trip, combined with the admiration for the work of the iconic director Federico Fellini, especially for one of his first films – Amarcord – which portrays aspects of this master’s childhood in the city of Rimini.

Starting from the context of “Romagna Welcome” meeting, and associated with the simplicity of the phonetic translation of the expression am’arcord (I remember), he creates a parallelism that sends us to the most remarkable moments captured by his camera during his time in Rimini and throughout the Romagna region.
